Description

A portrait of two young men preparing paint to decorate an Mbari house. The man in the centre is sitting on a block of wood, with legs either side of a rectangular stone palette on which he is mixing paint from materials in a bowl and basket next to the palette. His hands and legs are splattered with the paint. A young man is standing to the right of the image, holding a white bowl. His legs and hands are also splattered with paint. In the background in the side gallery of the house are two seated Mammywater figures. [PB 12/03/2024]
