Our database contains culturally sensitive information including images of human remains and photographs, names and recordings of deceased individuals. Some historic records do not reflect our current perspectives and values at MAA and use language or information that is outdated, incorrect and may be offensive. We continually review and update our records and encourage people to contact us at feedback@maa.cam.ac.uk with any suggestions, questions, or concerns.

Anyone may use images and data from the collections for academic, educational and creative purposes under a Creative Commons license (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0).

Please note however that permission generally needs to be obtained from copyright holders for works by living or recently deceased artists, makers and photographers.
