Description

A recently constructed Mbari house, showing one side with a veranda and the raffia roof, supported by mud buttresses and wooden poles. The corner pillars are decorated with geometric patterns, and on the veranda are several clay sculptures of seated figures, with a large sculpture of an animal, probably a horse?, in the background. To the extreme right of the image a child is looking at the camera. [PB 05/03/2024]
