Description
Ogbukere Play with the masquerade character Asele (Beloved daughter mask) dancing. The mask consists of a wooden horizontal base that is abstract and displays various geometric shapes and protrusions. The dancer has a frond of white ribbon around his neck over his gown. In the background are several male and female attendant dancers, wearing waist wrappers. [PB 28/11/23]
