Description

A documentary photograph of a carved wooden Ekpo face mask. Representation of a face with a double ridged hair line with a central crest, above large almond shaped eyes, small stub nose, pursed closed mouth, long chin and wide ears. The wood is highly polished and darkened, with a rimmed baseboard with perforated holes for cord attachments. [PB 24/11/23]
