Description
A documentary photograph of Ajonku, an Ekpe (Egbo) wooden face mask. The mask is made of dark polished wood and has white and red tassels attached to the top of the head. The brow, nose lips, ear are prominent and sharply defined, with deep eye recesses. The mask has a deep cushioned collar attached to its neck. [PB 24/11/23]
