Description
A documentation photograph of an Ugbom headdress in profile. The figure consists of two stylised birds placed on top of a carved head on a triangular base decorated with dots. Beneath is the face of the figure which is stylised and angular with a high protruding forehead, slit eyes, long nose, and exaggerated, protruding lips and chin, projecting well beyond the nose and upper part of the face, and keloid markings on the sides of the face.
