Description
An Ugbom headress placed on a stool. The headress is carved from wood and depicts the frontal view of a large male figure with a a rounded head with a high forehead, scarification marks in the centre of the forehead, slit eyes, squarish nose and protruding lips, neck, elongated body with arms to the side (hands broken off), protruding umbilicus, penis and sitting on a stool. The back of the stool has a rounded plate with a carved face. In the background is a mud wall. [Description from record N.72050.GIJ, PB 29/09/2023]
