Description

A documentation photograph of a frontal view of an Ekpe (Ibo) head on a rectangular bracket or bar. The head is naturalistic but stylised and consists of eyes, nose, mouth and ringed or coiled neck with facial markings in the centre of the forehead. The head has a crest-like head-dress. The figures is on a rectangular base is etched in triangular patterns. [PB 22/09/2023]
