Description

Obugulu Mau daughter masks. Three masqueraders wearing white “daughter” masks sitting down. The masks consists of white face with black markings and etched markings on the cheeks and forehead. The top of the mask culminates into a rounded superstructure decorated in colourful felt and cloth attached to the back of the mask are strips of cloth and felt. The masqueraders are wearing harlequin-like costumes and white gloves. There are spectators in the background.[Description from record P.71515.GIJ, PB 14/09/2023]
