Description

A close up of a face mask being held in a window frame. The mask has two painted horns and a central spike coming out of the top. The forehead is grooved and painted in different colours, from the eye slits to the top of the mask. The eye slits have several grooves around them. The nose is indicated by paint. The mouth has a rough slit. The mask is propped up in front of a wooden box. The raffia ties can be seen. There is a cloth covering part of the top of the mask and the fingers of the person holding the mask are in the image. [PB 08/09/2023]
