Description
An Ekpe (Ibo) double headed head on a wooden base. The pair of heads consist of fine naturalistic and delicate facial features: eyelids (no eyes), delicate nose, hollowed cheeks, mouth and elongated neck, layers of etched and incised markings for hair and a curved crest on the top. The heads are on a rectangular bar that is etched in square designs, and this rests on a small pedestal.[Description from record LS.52043.GIJ, PB 17/08/2023]
