Description
The inside of an Obu house showing five large life-size figures standing on a raised platform. The figures are painted in different coloured pigments and are dressed in cotton waist cloths and the other features and accessories are painted. The figures from left to right: a woman with coiled leg rings around the ankles, a male holding a stick or staff, a women holding a basket on her shoulder, a seated woman figure holding a baby in her lap, and a tall male next to her. The walls behind the figures are painted with designs of circles and other geometric patterns. The sloping roof is mad of local materials. [Description from record P.73888.GIJ, PB 28/07/2023]
