Description
A portrait of a carved wood sculpture within an Obu House. It is one piece of wood with a backboard, and has below a female figure standing facing forward inside a mud wall base with above a male figure standing facing forward on foot supports. She holds a ball-shaped object in her left hand. He holds a matchete in his right hand and a human skull in his left. A man is sitting to the left of the image by an upright building column. In the background there are two other carved figures leaning against the wall. The building's rafters and purlins are cover the scene, with light shining through the open window spaces to the left and background. [PB 28/07/23]
