Description
A textile wrapper, made from two strips sewn together, one twice the width of the other. The weaving is warp-faced plain weave. The design is striped, with regularly spaced bands of white and red outlined in black, and bands using the interlaced black and white weft threads to create a chequered effect. The wrapper has a fringe of warp threads. [PB 20/07/23]
