Description
A textile wrapper or blanket. (?Tuareg) The weaving is a single piece of mainly balanced plain weave. The warp threads are mainly reddish brown, with at regularly spaced intervals warp-faced narrow bands yellow and black. The weft is mainly reddish brown with some black. The wrapper is hanging from a white rod. The bottom of the wrapper has a end weft band of yellow and black rectangles from which hangs a fringe of the warp threads. [PB 20/07/23]
