Description

A close up view of an Okorosie masquerade with the masquerade character called Nwanyure (Proud Woman). Nwanyure is wearing a ‘beautiful’ female white face mask with a dark head superstructure on top with two feathers sticking out. The mask is painted white with facial features accentuated with black paint; on top of the mask is a carving of a face with horned or braided coiffure.
