Description
A close up of the front of an Alusi tutelary and fertility full length mud figure moulded in the smooth mud of the hollow of the shrine. The figure is sitting on a grid of ridged lines. The head has eyes and mouth indicated by simple holes with a small nose and ears. Feet and hands are indicated by notches in the mud. A cross pattern of three parallel line is marked on the body with the centre of the cross a raised navel. [PB 11/05/2023]
