Description

A close up of the body of an Alusi tutelary and fertility mud figure with both male and female characteristics. The figure has a broad base. In the background there are several other female mud figures on the smooth mud of the hollow in which the shrine is located. To the right is a small mud head with hollow eyes and a mouth containing several jagged teeth. [PB 11/05/2023]
