Description

An Alusi tutelary and fertility female mud figure in a shrine comprising several mud figures. The figure has a broad base narrowing to a small head with a slit mouth containing several teeth. The body is limbless. Two parallel lines of notched scarification marks run vertically and horizontally on the body of the figure in a cross pattern. The figure is standing on a mud slope. In the background there is another figure. [PB 11/05/2023]
