Description
A masquerader dancing in an Ekeleke play. The masquerader is wearing a tall white faced headdress, with a coiled comb. The masquerader's face is covered with a cloth and his body draped in other printed cloths. He is dancing on wooden stilts which are wrapped in striped cloth. An attendant is standing nearby. He is wearing a striped cloth over his shoulders, a white shirt and a chequered cloth wrapper. In the background are spectators and trees.[PB 30/03/23]
