Description

A masquerader dancing in an Ekeleke play. The masquerader is wearing a tall white faced headdress, with feathered coiffure. The masquerader's face is covered with cloths and his body draped in other printed cloths. He is dancing on wooden stilts. He is rushing towards an attendant who is wearing cloth wrappers over his body and legs. The attendant is learning backwards as the masquerader comes towards hgm. In the background are spectators and trees. [PB 30/03/23]
