Description

Two dancers in the Ekeleke masquerade, dancing in front of a crowd of spectators. The dancers have their back to the camera. They are dancing on stilts. The dancers are wearing small double-headed Janus helmet masks. They are wearing cloths over the heads, shirts and wrappers. In front of the spectators a man is sitting on the ground playing a wooden gong drum, with wooden beaters in each hand. The view is from an elevated position, looking down on the masqueraders and spectators. [PB 16/02/2023]
