Description
A carved wooden figure of an Alose (tutelary deity), standing in front of the wall of her shrine. She is wearing printed cloths on her head, with striped pattern, and a striped cloth wrapper around her lower torso. Her eyelids are painted white. There is a painted etched line from her ear to her eye. There are etched diagonal marks leading down from her forehead to the end of her nose. She has a plain necklet carved on her neck with a drop cord of etched diagonal marks running from the necklet to her waist. Her arms are to her sides. [PB 16/02/2023]
