Description

View of a street scene made from a first floor balcony, under the eaves of a roof which can be seen at the top of the image. There are two youths in the street either side of a tree trunk. One youth is walking to the left and the other youth is standing to the right of the tree and looking up at the camera. On the other side of the street is a thatched building. There is a circular woven raffia parasol leaning against the the wall of the building at the end of a wooden bench.
