Description

A portrait of two Tuareg women sitting selling flour in a street market. The woman on the left is grinding flour, with her right hand blurred as she spins the grindstone. Both women have grindstones sitting inside open sacks on the ground with the ground flour spread out inside. The woman on the right is nursing an infant whom she is protecting with a cloth. She has a bead bracelet on her right arm. In the background there are other women selling flour and grain. [PB 15/06/23]
