"Bambata Cave. Group of eland antelopes, forming centre of frieze shown in Pl. XXXIII. Two periods of painting showing red superimposed upon the old yellow. Middle and Upper Bambata age. The outlines of the older yellow paintings have been touched up in red at the period of red superposition.
