Description
Three Northern Ndebele (historically Matabele) women and two girls standing and sitting near Bambata Cave. An older woman wears a leather cape over a fabric skirt, the others wear western-style clothing, with two wearing blankets as capes. The woman on the right holds up a decorated pot, and the older girl holds a rolled mat?, possibly items of trade?. [JD 10/01/2024]
