On p.245 Armstrong notes "The native staff, consisting of three Matabele boys, "Charlie Chaplin," Telani and Pow, were released from other than camp duties on Sundays, and the three members of the Expedition took advantage of the leisure to explore the neighbourhood for caves and rock-shelters, or the prospecting of river deposits, varied by occasional visits to Hope Fountain for discussion of the findings with the Rev.
