Three wahaika (hand clubs) on a piece of kiwi feather fabric, possibly a kahu kiwi (kiwi feather cloak) at the Whanganui Regional Museum. It is likely that Poignant has misread or misremembered wahaika as a place name in the description above. [KK 31/10/2022]
