Description
Portrait of Iacinta as she uses a tebwere (cutting tool) to slice strips of dried pandanus leaves into thin strips ready for Taatai to weave into a placemat. She is seated inside a mwaneaba (meeting house) on a floor covered in woven pandanus leaf mats. There is a bowl of moi moto (fresh coconuts to drink) next to Iacinta.
