2. New Guinea. Lime spatula. District unknown. Female form with protruding tongue.
[Third spoon not described]."

The Lime spatula is now in the care of the MAA, reference 1927.1070, and described as:
"Spatula - Ebony lime spatula carved to represent the upper part of a woman with her tongue extending to her chest, arms extended and hands clasped.
Oceania; Melanesia; Papua New Guinea; Massim District; ?Murua
