"16 August 1938 Sited Younghusband’s photo of Tuna, and Twister coursed hares. Left about 0800 for Dochen. Saw 1904 battlefield S. of Goru and Sanguro on hills west of spring (100,000 galls./hr?) and remains of block house on road. Dochen some cultivation about 2 acres and lots of water from Rham Tso. Many hares. No grazing en route." [JD 26/01/2020]
