Collector: Collected by the donor Dr Richard Jenner, now a Retired General Surgeon, Kettering, during a year’s Voluntary Service Organisation while a clinical student at St. Mary’s Hospital Medical School, Imperial College London. He was based at Nonga Base Hospital, Rabaul, New Britain and carried out health patrols throughout the island of New Britain, especially within Wide Bay. He also gave measles vaccination in the Mortlock and Tasman, and the Carteret atolls, May/June 1964 –May 1965.
