Lokumamoi of Bokorora, status of Senior Elder, age 80-85, the tortoise shell breast ornament (Bokol) being reserved for the status of Senior Elder. The type of twisted metal labret worn by him was considered old-fashioned in 1926. Despite his age and arthritic condition he is very active and energetic, and could walk over 20 miles at a good pace in mountainous country.

On Print for duplicate image P.50068.ACH2: "Heads of clan 2. Loxumamoi of Bokorora. For comments see earlier photograph. This comment applies to subsequent heads of clans, whose photographs appear.]" [Shepstone’s caption]

A half-length portrait of Chief Lokumamoi of Bokorora. An elderly Didinga man wearing several ear ornaments and a twisted metal labret which Driberg annotates as being old-fashioned in 1926. He is wearing three local neck ornaments - a circular neck cuff, a looser beaded ornament and a pendant with a stone. He is also wearing an open shirt which Driberg annotates as being government issued. In the background is Timan Lomingamoi of Idoto Chief of Pataldo and Lotyang Lotaperemoi, Chief of Thugoro.
