Bushman & Negro.
Negro: boy. slight lumbar curve.
Bushman: pronounced lumbar curve.
femur inclined forward."
On Catalogue Card Reverse: "3. Young negro in vertical altitude of upright position, corresponding to a slightly pronounced lumbar curve. The direction of the femur & tibia is that which I attribute to Quaternary man.
4. Young Bushman, in the altitude corresponding to a more pronounced lumbar curve, the femur is slightly inclined in front, & forms, with the tibia, an open angle anteriority" [Manouvrier's? captioning]
