Description

In the compound of the senior woman of the family. The infant children of several wives of the family left in the care of one of them. The lineage shrine can be seen against the wall on the left, part of it supported on a tree stump and part on the floor in shallow pottery dishes. In the foreground a dog lies sleeping. The young children wear waist bands and amulets of their spirit guardians around the neck. The adobe walls are decorated with bands of incised geometric pattern.
