Posed formal group portrait of probably a Tallensi family and four other men within a compound. The group includes an older man seated in the centre, two seated women holding young boys, another young boy seated on the ground and a young woman standing behind. To the right is a man wearing an indigo-dyed tunic; and standing at the back and reclining on the ground are two Ghanian men wearing Western-style clothing. Standing at the centre back is a European man, possibly Frank?, an anthropologist with Tallensi in the 1960s (see P.136496.MF). [JD 9/8/2017]
