"64a. The Kambaŋr Sakpantuur; in position in a cleft in the rock, on which the Gɔlib drums are ?pibier covered with leaves. It consists of a stick about 5 1/2 - 6 ft the top covered v. roughly & v. anciently to represent a human body - rough arms, trunk, & esp. head, w. ears formally carved, as sketch [on journal page]; decorated w. hawk's wings & pɛraa lɔma - the strip of skin running under a sheeps belly (?) wh. fly in in the wind as it is shaken."
