Publication: Image published in 'Self-Decoration in Mount Hagen', 1971, after p.164 and captioned: “Colour plate 21 A simple red parrot circlet marks this woman as belonging to a group who plan to hold their own festivals at a later stage, and now dance without full head-dresses”. [KH 21/11/2016]
