Description
On Strathern's listing: Nditing (turning away), and his sons Punum and El (all three Tipuka Kitepi)
NOTE. Kawelka Membo and Mandembo give wua peng (pigs) to Tipuka Oklembo & Kitepi. On this final day, the Oklembo and Kitepi recipients dance in the same line as the donors to ‘help’ the display. Recipients would not wear Køi wal, but this was not a køi wal occasion anyway. See Self-Decoration in Mount Hagen 1971: 66-69. Only the donors run up and down the line of display … .
