Description
On Strathern's listing: On the left Moka (later known as Moka Mbona) and (Ngglammbo) Puklum on right; with Tiki in background. In front of our [Marilyn Strathern and Andrew Strathern] house.
When one personal name follows another, as in Moka Mbona, this is a later usage, the second name being variously a father’s name (‘surname’), or a Christian (‘baptized’) name. At this period people were known usually by one name alone. Tiki was attached to Kawelka Ngglammbo Ongka’s household.
