Description

On Strathern's listing: Bringing the killed pig from the house. The men are (no order) Ui, Kukile, Kora and Kurupmbo Ruk (on right). Ruk is holding the club by which the pig was stunned (and killed).
The pig will be cooked and given as penal kng to bride’s kin.

Marilyn Strathern notes: "These are all Membo people [but Ruk] back at Əndipi’s place (called Pitim) dividing up the pig that has been "returned" by the bride's family. Mostly Membo men, but may be others." [Handwritten note]
