On Strathern's listing: Kina lined up: Nggoemba can be seen leaning forward (head obscured).
Notes say that Kawelka Kurupmbo Romba counted the kina, ie formally ‘registered’ them. I [Marilyn Strathern] think that is the man purposefully striding down. They were counted by others too, several times in fact!
