Expedition / Collector: The Yale-Cambridge India Expedition of 1935 was sponsored by the Peabody Museum and led by Dr Helmut de Terra together with Pere P. Teilhard de Chardin, a noted French palreontologist, and Dr T. T. Paterson to investigate the glacial cycles in Kashmir and the associated human remains in the periglacial area known as Potwar in the West Punjab, which after the partition of the country was within the borders of Pakistan.
