Description
Lamas eating after service. Novice-lamas of Batogar Sume getting their noonday ration of buttered tea (from wooden kettle at left) in which they eat roasted flour, moistened and rolled between thumb and fingers (as at right). Two boys in monks' robes in front of building with wooden kettles in front of them, holding tea bowls. One has prayer beads on wrist.
