Description
Dalgleish cairn, Karakorum Pass; Just below the pass, on the Chinese side, is a cairn with stamped-cotton Tibetan prayer flags on it, and in the nick of the pass a cairn, now falling to ruin, put up in the memory of Andrew Dalgleish the Scottish merchant adventurer and early explorer of Central Asia who was murdered on the pass by a Pathan [HT, text, p 341]
