Ancestor Cult. Duk-Duk.
The TUBUVAN & DUKDUK hold the skulls in their hands (v. 2nd masked [male symbol] to R.)
‘GARAMUT’ & smaller drums ‘KUDDU’.
Every few years their skulls are dug up, painted & decorated, placed on framework, surrounded by family wealth, - feast held in their honour. Such feasts often celebrated by Duk-duk, the Tubuvan collects dewarra, & Dukduk dance & feast." [manuscript in ink]
