Description

On Manual Listing: "Santa Anna Island.
916. Canoe house. Canoe "A" is the second one from the left. These plank canoes are secured together edge to edge without overlapping, and then the seams are cemented with a gum made from the putty nut. The canoes are used primarily for bonito fishing and are taboo to women."
