On Catalogue Card for duplicate print P.552.ACH1: "Natives, Cygnet bay.

Group sitting.
Nos 1 and 2 men dotting themselves with wallaby fur dipped into the biscuit tin which contains blood from head men of various tribes.
No. 3 man; a head man letting blood run into the tin from his arm, this they do till they feel quite weak, and then put a ligature on. The tin contains stuff like shavings which after being saturated with blood from all the head men of various tribes is chewed by each, this I was told showed friendship.
No.s 4 and 5 are making the headdress for the two principal or leading men in the corroborree.
One headdress lying on the ground ready made.
